Does my rotation have to be 7 or 28 days long?
No. A cycle can be anywhere from 1 to 56 days, such as 3 days for 24/48, 9 days for a Kelly schedule or 14 days for Pitman. The calendar simply repeats your cycle day after day.
How do I set up night shifts and 24-hour shifts?
Set the start and end time, then choose whether the shift ends the same day, the next day or the day after. A night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 ends the next day; a 24-hour shift from 08:00 to 08:00 also ends the next day. Shifts can be up to 48 hours.
If I change one day, does it affect later shifts?
No. A one-day change only replaces or cancels the shift that starts on that date. Every other day still follows your rotation from the same known date, and you can put the day back to the rotation at any time.
Why does a day without a new shift still show a time?
Shifts are shown on the day they start. If a night shift runs past midnight, the next morning shows when it ends, for example “ends 07:00”. That day has no new shift, but it isn't a full day off.
Can I combine my family's schedules?
Yes. Add up to four people, each with their own rotation. The calendar lists everyone in the same order on each day, with their name on every line so it still reads well in black and white. If a month gets crowded, print one page per person.
Do public holidays interrupt the rotation?
No. Holidays are only shown as labels. Weekends and holidays count like any other day, so the cycle keeps running exactly as it does at work.
Where is my calendar saved, and how do I move it to another device?
It's saved in this browser on this device only — nothing is uploaded and there's no account. Use “Export backup” to download a file, then “Restore from backup” on the other device.
How do I know which crew or platoon I'm on?
Crew letters depend on your employer. If you know a date when crew A started its rotation, enter it as the known date and pick your crew; otherwise enter one of your own shift dates and its day in the cycle. Check a full cycle in the preview against your real schedule.
